Blender promises professional 3D game animation, modelling and rendering - all in a 2MB free program. And - as you can see - it delivers fantastic results.
You can construct, animate and render complex scenes with great accuracy. Blender has many of the same functions as such apps as LightWave and MAX.
It's quirky, slightly hard to use - but it is free - and we all like a challenge.
