Chase is a new space warp which makes it very quick and easy to create swarming behaviour with particles.
Just bind any particle system to the space warp, and the particles will chase it or another object. You can make the particles follow tightly, or you can let them buzz around your object. You can even have each particle try to align itself with a unique point on the surface of an object. That way, the particles will appear to settle onto the object.
If you're trying to simulate flocks, swarms or shoals, chase is a handy little utility, and you can create an effect in seconds that would normally be a tricky and time consuming job.
